DEUS 21: DEcentralised Urban infrastructure System
DEUS 21 represents a new type of water infrastructure concept with the following features:
- innovative and flexible infrastructure system with high resource efficiency concerning energy, nutrients and water
- links water supply and wastewater disposal
- high degree of user comfort
The DEUS 21 concept is currently being implemented within the framework of a pilot project on a new building estate. An ecological and economic assessment is being made of the system, as are parallel studies of its acceptance and the influence of relevant boundary conditions in the water sector.
